Microsoft Intune Android Device Enrolment Guide (Standard Enrolment)

Step 1: Open Google Play Store

On the Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Search for Microsoft Intune Company Portal
  3. Install the app

Step 2: Open the Company Portal App

    1. Launch the Company Portal app

2. Tap Sign In

    Step 3: Sign In with Work Account

    1. Enter the user’s Microsoft 365 email address
    2. Enter the password
    3. Complete MFA (if prompted)

    Step 4: Begin Device Setup

    1. Tap Begin
    2. Follow the prompts on screen
    3. Tap Continue


    Step 5: Allow Required Permissions

    The app may request permissions such as:

    1. Camera
    2. Storage
    3. Phone access
    4. Notifications

    Tap Allow for all required permissions.

    Step 6: Create Work Profile

      1. The device will prompt to create a Work Profile


    2. Tap Continue

    3. Wait while Android sets up the work profile

    This may take a few minutes.

    Step 7: Activate Device Administrator / Management

    1. When prompted, tap Activate or Allow
    2. This allows Intune to manage company data securely

    Step 8: Complete Compliance Checks

    The Company Portal will:

    1. Check device compliance
    2. Apply company policies
    3. Install required apps if configured

    Wait until all checks show as successful.

    Step 9: Confirm Enrollment

    Once complete:

    1. Open the Company Portal app
    2. The device should show as:
      1. Managed
      2. Compliant (if policies are met)
